About Pinky Swear Foundation
Many families dealing with a long-term illness experience financial, emotional and physical challenges. This puts the family entity at risk. At just nine-years-old, Mitch Chepokas understood the impact of cancer on the entire family. After hearing a struggling couple in the hallway at the hospital, Mitch asked his dad if he could help them - and others by giving away the money in his savings to those who needed it more than he. Since cancer is not a “one-day thing,” the Mitchie Envelope program does not limit or cap requests from families, nor discriminate on socioeconomic status. Mitchie Envelopes are gifts given to families to help ease the stress of everyday living, so that they can focus on who needs them most, their child.
