About United Amputee Basketball Association
The UABA Amputee Assistance Fund was formed to assist amputees in obtaining a low cost to no cost prosthetic and to provide adequate training and rehabilitation facilities for its clients. It is our company’s belief that all persons, children and adults alike, met by the challenges of amputation should be able to efficiently walk, run and jump again, regaining the ambition and drive that is inherently manifested by being whole emotionally, psychologically and physically. Through applied technologies such as 3D printing, this creation has created a solution and a new awareness for obtaining a prosthetic in today's world. Our primary focus is to create and coordinate educational systems that encourage and support concepts that will add quality life to people in need. We intend to broaden and brighten the lives of those that otherwise would not have the opportunities that persons with full bodies, enjoy each and every day. We have an alliance with companies like 3D Systems, Microsoft, several prosthetic companies, the military, businesses, schools, and other community groups to help create the awareness for amputees. Our primary goals are to provide an adequate training facility for our clients , encourage and support a continually active lifestyle, and to assist amputees through the challenges, trials, and tribulations they face on a daily basis. The UABA also strives to develop lifelong alliances with client, community and stakeholders, through effective implementation of professionalism and accountability. We are currently offering a complete no cost fundraising program to assist partnering non-profits to raise money for their organizations.
