A Special Message to our Committed JF&CS; CHAI Works Families & Friends;
LEAD THE WAY ... Donate your no longer used electronics to create funding for JF&CS CHAI Works technology tools!
Clients with disabilities in the JF&CS CHAI Works program respond tremendously to technology, motivating us to bring the magic of technology to our program with greater vigor. This project will enable us to raise money to help pay for new technology that our staff/clients can use for reading/communication/recreation and will give clients access to continued education/learning.
Please take the lead by clicking the DONATE button and together let's show others how easy it is to support vital JF&CS CHAI Works programs while doing our part to protect the environment at the same time!
You can participate by Upcycling from home or work and we'll share the results via email and our Website.
And don't stop there...help us get the word out by clicking the social media icons to post the JF&CS CHAI Upcycling Web Page to Facebook, Twitter (or over 300 other Social Media sites) or email to friends and family.
Upcycling...It's the new way to give!
About Jewish Family & Children Services
The mission of CHAI Works is to create meaningful and fulfilling opportunities for individuals with disabilities to lead productive and integrated lives in their communities, and to increase feelings of self-worth and confidence. We do this through employment, volunteering, health & wellness, recreation, enrichment, and community experiences.
We support our participants in independent paid positions through job development, initial job coaching, and by building/maintaining employer relationships. Our participants and staff volunteer in groups and contribute more than 500 hours/week of service at more than 20 community partner nonprofit organizations, which host our participants and utilize their contributions and skills to better their agency.
We believe personal identity is enhanced through one’s achievements, and we strive to empower individuals through education and skill-building experiences.
